Electric Vehicle Charge Stations

We’re thrilled to announce that CliniMed and SecuriCare have made further progress reducing our carbon emissions. We recently enlisted electric vehicle charging solutions company - Pod Point (pod-point.com) to assist us with a £40,000 investment, to install 4 twin electric vehicle charge stations at our head office car park.

By supporting employees and visitors use of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, we hope to further reduce our company’s carbon footprint and achieve our environmental goals over the coming years.

CliniMed/SecuriCare Operations Director, Stuart Short commented:

“We have installed 8 charge points to support the transition of our staffs’ and visitors’ cars to ultra-low emission vehicles including electric and plug-in hybrids. The infrastructure allows for further expansion as and when required. We expect to see a significant shift towards electric vehicles in our company car fleet over the next few years.”

This project has been in sight for CliniMed for a number of months and we would like to give special thanks to Operations Manager, Daniel Blackmore for his hard work in organising the installation that benefits both colleagues and clients.

We would also like to thank Pod Point for installing the chargers on site. Pod Point have 5,200+ charge stations around the country and have installed charge stations in such places as Tesco Supermarkets and Chester Zoo.
