A journey of rebuilding trust and confidence

There was a time when Shelley and Nina questioned what their bodies could do. After their stoma surgeries, they both that their confidence in being active and exercising had taken a knock.

Through the Breathing and Movements programme, they gradually rebuilt their strength, regained confidence, and felt more in control of their bodies again.

That renewed confidence has inspired them to set themselves a new challenge: competing in the ATHX Games.

ATHX is a 2.5-hour functional fitness competition that tests both strength and endurance. It’s a huge achievement for anyone, and an incredible milestone for Shelley and Nina.
