This Notice explains how your personal information is processed by the CliniMed companies listed in the Data Controllers and Contact section below. When we use the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” in this document, we are referring to those companies. This Notice also tells you how you can access and update your personal data and make certain choices about how your personal information is used. Please note that we may combine personal information that we collect via one method (e.g. CliniMed website) with personal information we collect via another method (e.g. Customer service helpline). As part of this, we may combine personal data that were originally collected by different CliniMed entities. More information about these activities is set out below.

Personal Information we collect about you

We may obtain personal information from or about you from various online and offline sources such as the personal information you provide whilst interacting with our websites, customer services, at patient meetings and open days or social media pages, forums or blogs.

The personal information will include your name, address, date of birth, gender, contact details (including email address), and the health related information you have given us. We are also holding records of contact we have had with you such as product samples, services and advice we have provided.

If you use any of our websites, we may also automatically collect technical information including your device’s IP address; and information about your visit, including the URL clickstream to, through and from our websites; products you viewed or searched for, the content that you view or interact with, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse‐overs), and methods used to browse away from the page. Uses made of your personal information and legal basis for processing

Where we have the appropriate permissions to do so, we will use the information you have given us to:

  • process any orders you send us;
  • handle any other requests or queries you have at any time;
  • contact you to remind you to place orders or inform you about holiday opening times;
  • contact you (by phone, email or post) with information about relevant news, products and services which may interest you and occasionally, for customer satisfaction survey and research purposes.

We will share your contact details with courier or delivery companies in order to deliver your products, or when necessary, with healthcare professionals. We assure you, your personal information will not be passed on to any third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.

Your personal information is held securely on databases within the UK and is not transferred outside of the European Economic Area.
