Customisation, Samples and Distribution Operative (Temp-Perm)

BRIEF JOB SUMMARY:

Working as part of a friendly team involved with the distribution of medical products across the UK, this busy role will involve you in various aspects of warehousing. This role will involve being flexible in your approach to a rota system that includes Customisation, Samples and Distribution duties.

Distribution Duties

Assist with checking in, putting away and rotation of stock. Report any damages/discrepancies in accordance with Company policy.

Samples Duties

To process and despatch samples, hospital orders and exhibition items as requested.

Customisation Duties

To carry out and maintain an accurate and high standard of in-house customisation either by hand or using the cutting machines. To ensure that all work areas are maintained and kept tidy. Maintain a high level of accuracy when picking stock for the cutting machines. To maintain a high level of accuracy when picking and packing sample or main stock orders. To maintain best practice guidelines for all functions listed below.

Other Duties

Any other distribution/warehouse duties that may be reasonably required, both by the company and its customers determined by any Service Level Agreement in place.

  • Experience with using Warehouse management systems, pick, pack and dispatch
