Job Summary

As the SAP Project Management Office Analyst, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Project Manager, ensuring the seamless and controlled execution of SAP cloud business system implementations.  You will be assisting the PMO by upholding governance, reporting standards, and compliance requirements. Your key responsibilities include coordinating project activities, monitoring progress and risks, organising workshops and cutover processes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring adherence to established delivery methodologies and PMO protocols. 

Throughout the SAP implementation project, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager as well as external stakeholders.  Additionally, you will be working alongside internal key stakeholders to facilitate the successful deployment of the SAP business system.  You will be expected to consistently demonstrate professionalism and foster constructive relationships with all key stakeholders and opinion leaders.

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrated delivery discipline, ensuring tasks and responsibilities are consistently fulfilled to support project milestones. 
  • Advanced analytical thinking skills to interpret complex SAP cloud data, resolve issues, and identify process improvements. 
  • Clear and effective executive communication abilities, both verbal and written, to convey project updates and technical details to senior stakeholders. 
  • Proven stakeholder management experience, fostering collaboration between IT, business units, and external partners throughout the SAP Activate cloud implementation lifecycle. 
  • Strong persistence and follow-through, maintaining momentum and overcoming challenges to meet deadlines and objectives in a dynamic project environment. 
  • Extensive experience (1 to 3+ years) with project planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking progress to ensure successful SAP cloud delivery. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of governance and compliance within SAP Activate cloud implementations, supporting adherence to standards and regulatory requirements. 
  • Practical expertise in project risk management and stakeholder engagement, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues. 
  • Comfortable managing multiple streams of work and stakeholders simultaneously. 
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels, enabling effective information sharing, issue resolution, and continuous alignment among project teams. 
  • Demonstrated proactive attitude, anticipating challenges and taking initiative to drive progress and deliver results within the SAP cloud project environment and the guidance of the PM. 
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint) and Project Management tools (Planner, MS Project). 

Desirable Skills

  • Hands-on involvement in SAP cloud testing and user training, ensuring system reliability and empowering end-users with the necessary skills for successful adoption. 
  • Experience managing data migration and cutover processes, facilitating seamless transitions and minimising disruption during SAP cloud implementation. 
  • Experience in NHS healthcare sector
