National Doughnut Week takes place every year and is a chance for businesses of all kinds to raise awareness and funds for The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury. It began in 1992 and has raised over £1 million for charity to date.

Why National Doughnut Week?

Many ostomates use washers along with their stoma bag to provide extra security and help to reduce the risk of leaks. Because of their shape many people with stomas refer to washers as “doughnuts”. So, we thought this was the perfect opportunity to raise awareness for a really great cause. We’ll also be donating £250 to The Children’s Trust.

What is a Washer or "Doughnut"?

A washer is a flexible ring that resembles a doughnut in shape and fits over the stoma before the pouch is applied. They can help to fill in dips and creases around the stoma to provide a secure fit and reduce the risk of leakage. Our HyperSeal ® Washers are infused with skin-friendly Manuka honey and are Skin Health Alliance accredited. They can also be stretched, shaped and moulded to fit your body.

Terms and Conditions

  1. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “The Promoter” refers to CliniMed Ltd (“The Promoter”, “Us”, “We”, “Our”). The “Prize” refers to one (1) Krispy Kreme U.K. Limited e-Gift Card with a value of £10. The “Entrant” refers to the individual who enters the prize draw(“You”, “Your”).
  2. These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and general Terms.
  3. By entering the prize draw, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All entries must be received by 17:00 BST on 23 May 2025. Ten (10) winners will be selected at random by The Promoter after the closing date, and the winners will be notified on or after this date.
  4. The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 or over at the time of entry. Employees of CliniMed Ltd, their immediate families, and anyone professionally associated with the prize draw are not eligible to enter. Winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries.
  5. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
  6. Entry to the prize draw is made by completing the entry form.
  7. The Prize will be awarded to randomly selected winners using a random number generator. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the Prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled for any reason.
  8. Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. If the Prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal value.
  9. The name, address, email address, and telephone number of the winners may be requested by the Promoter and will be shared as necessary to enable fulfilment of the Prize. Entrants agree to the use of their name in any publicity material should they win a prize.
  10. If a winner cannot be contacted or a prize is unclaimed within seven days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  11. The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are not received, whether due to technical issues, delays, illegibility, corruption, damage, incompleteness, or any other reason.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, amend, or suspend the prize draw or these Terms and Conditions at any time, in whole or in part, without prior notice.
  13. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of entering the prize draw or accepting the Prize. The Promoter makes no warranty or guarantee in relation to the performance of any third parties involved in the prize draw and shall not be held liable for any acts of fraud or negligence committed by such parties.
  14. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the prize draw or these Terms and Conditions.
  15. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to CliniMed and SecuriCare Medical and no other party.
