How to use

Use MelMax on contaminated/infected wounds, like:

  • Chronic wounds (leg ulcers, decubitus ulcers and diabetic ulcers)
  • Acute wounds (burns and surgical/trauma wounds)
  • MelMax is especially suitable for wound bed preparation.

Versatile and easy to change

MelMax is designed to be as easy to apply or to change as reglar dressings.

  •  For moist or wet wounds, an adsorbent secondary dressing may be applied on top of the MelMax dressing
  • Change MelMax every 1-3 days
  • MelMax should be changed daily initially then every third day depending on healing progress
  • More frequent changes may be neccessary where exudate is heavy or any secondary dressing becomes soiled
