The Medicool packs (MC28/MC3) need to be refrigerated for a minimum of 24 hours before use in the Vaccine Porter system

It is essential that all those involved in the handling of vaccines are aware of and follow policies which adhere to cold chain compliance. Validated cool boxes and ice packs from a recognised medical supply company should be used and must be appropriate for the purpose required.

 

MiniPorter

Vaccine MiniPorter

  • The Mini Porter is used by community nurses in the home – for vaccinations and collection of samples
  • Holds up to 10 vials of vaccine
  • Maintains the temperature within the system between +2°C and +8°C for 18 hours+
  • Chills samples and specimens for preservation after collection, prior to refrigeration
  • Validated for multiple openings
  • Smart waterproof casing enclosing polystyrene inner, Medicool and spacer mat
  • Shoulder straps for easy handling and clear PVC window for inserting delivery data
  • Secure and easy to use hook & loop fastening

The Medicool pack (MC11) needs to be frozen for a minimum of 24 hours before use in the Mini Porter system.

The Mini Porter is available in blue only.
